Sales Development Representative (Entry Level)

Our team includes brilliant engineers and successful serial entrepreneurs who are passionate about improving how software is built and delivered, and we are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our family. While we are headquartered in stunning San Francisco, this is a remote position. Minimum Requirements

  • You must be driven and focused on doing whatever it takes to succeed
  • 1-2 years business/sales development in SaaS, DevOps, or Cybersecurity verticals strongly preferred
  • Experience meeting minimum outbound call volume and talk time goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Goal & growth mindset with the ability to seek out and apply coaching feedback regarding sales skills
  • Exceptional cold-call prospecting abilities using consultative phone skills, including the ability to relay information in a clear and friendly manner, inspire, overcome objections, and remain resolute throughout
  • Working experience with prospecting tools (Zendesk, SalesForce, CRMs, Sales Navigator, and LinkedIn)


Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our sales and product teams to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Schedule discovery meetings to qualify a prospect's potential fit
  • Help customers realize the value of our solutions
  • Contact by phone/email/social media a high volume of inbound and prospective leads per day to initiate conversation with prospects, present the value of RapidFort’s products, and qualify prospects to move on to an introductory discovery call with an Account Executive
  • Conduct web research to engage market prospects that fit the ideal customer profile based on targeted market and to identify relevant internal company contacts for outreach
  • Attend and help lead virtual and face-to-face sales meetings with prospects alongside Account Executives
  • Utilize sales tools, including Linkedin Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, YesWare, ConnectLeader, S&P Global to research contacts and engage with market prospects
