Minimus has announced that it is ending operations and will permanently shut down its container image registry on October 22, 2026. This leaves customers with a limited window to transition to another source for secure, continuously maintained container images.

RapidFort is ready to help.

No-Cost Migration Assistance, Effective Immediately

Effective immediately, RapidFort will provide no-cost migration assistance to existing Minimus customers, as well as organizations currently participating in a Minimus trial, evaluation, or proof of concept. Our goal is to make the transition as straightforward as possible while helping organizations maintain the security, stability, and continuity of their software supply chains.

  • Existing Minimus customers
  • Organizations currently participating in a Minimus trial
  • Organizations currently participating in a Minimus evaluation
  • Organizations currently participating in a Minimus proof of concept

Continuing a Proactive Security Strategy

RapidFort provides curated, hardened container images designed to reduce vulnerabilities at the source, before applications enter the development pipeline or production environment.

Organizations can continue pursuing a proactive security strategy without abandoning their existing workflows or returning to a vulnerability backlog dominated by unnecessary CVEs.

Committed to the Long Term

More importantly, this is not simply a short-term migration offer. RapidFort is committed to supporting these organizations for the long term with continuously maintained images, enterprise support, and a comprehensive software supply chain security platform that extends from software intake through live production environments.

Plan Your Migration Before October 22

We recognize that changing a critical software provider on short notice can create uncertainty for development, security, and platform engineering teams. RapidFort will work directly with affected organizations to understand their current Minimus usage and help them transition to the appropriate RapidFort solution at no charge.

Minimus customers and evaluators can contact RapidFort today to begin planning their migration before the registry shutdown on October 22.
