Frontend Engineering Manager (UI Focus)

RapidFort is looking is looking for a Frontend Engineering Manager to lead our UI team in building modern, scalable enterprise applications. You’ll be responsible for guiding frontend engineers, driving technical decisions, and ensuring our applications deliver exceptional user experiences. Anticipated salary is $150,000-$180,000 depending on experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3–5 years leading frontend teams in enterprise settings, ideally in cybersecurity or related high-security industries.
  • Proven experience delivering complex B2B applications with scalability and performance in mind.
  • Deep expertise in React and Tailwind CSS.
  • Strong TypeScript skills, with a focus on maintainability and developer productivity.
  • Solid experience with testing frameworks (unit, integration, E2E).
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, accessibility (WCAG), and Core Web Vitals.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to work across engineering, product, and design.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with enterprise security standards.
  • Experience with real-time data visualization, analytics dashboards, or event-driven UIs.
  • Background in micro-frontends or modular monorepo setups.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of frontend/UI developers through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Partner with Product and Design to deliver high-quality, scalable enterprise-grade web applications.
  • Drive technical direction for React + Tailwind applications, ensuring best practices in architecture, accessibility, and performance.
  • Oversee the development of a design system/component library, ensuring consistency across products.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs and data models to support complex workflows.
  • Define and uphold coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
  • Champion innovation by staying up to date with the latest frontend technologies and frameworks.
